Send 2 Die 04:27
Fought for no cause in a foreign land, Why I was there I still don't understand They said go there and fight the red, We had no choice, but were they really bad The leaders said we should stand tall Fight the enemy, make them fall Many losses on both sides All because of politician's lies We were send to die, we were send to Die... Returned from the wars in a foreign land Why I was there I still don't understand We killed, got shot, so many dead the blood on both sides, the same red Pain and hurt and dying screams, Friend and foe, they haunt my dreams Orphaned, mangled childrens cries all because of rich man's lies We were send to Die.. We were Send 2 Die..

I will have to do this at some point....

about

Misery loves company, so after Pt.2 we had to do a Pt.3, right?
This one is a tryptich...two old songs from the 2nd folk CD, Aigewais...and a new one, recorded during blockdown over the last months of 2020, going into 2021.
More info with the tracks themselves...

about

Hailander Zaandam, Netherlands

1987 sees the birth of "Highlander Mad Metal", distinguishing themselves because of an electronic bagpipe with amps set at 11.
1995 to 1997 were transition years, as the Hard Rock band came to an end & steps were made towards Folk.
The same enthusiasm, passion & humor continued in Hailander.
Now we are working on merging both styles.
